Originally from Rochester, New York, she has been dedicated to creating effortless, natural styles since graduating from hair school in 2007. Her passion is to create hair that not only looks amazing but also feels true to each person’s individuality.
Teigan’s passion for precision led her to train at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, where she spent three months mastering advanced haircutting techniques.
Specializing in precision cuts and soft, lived-in color, she focuses on creating looks that grow out beautifully while keeping the hair healthy and strong.

Growing up admiring other hair stylists and the art form accompanying the profession, she attended the Aveda Institute Chapel Hill in 2006. After graduation, she completed her apprenticeship and began working at Modern Salon and Spa in Charlotte, NC.
She specializes in short and long haircuts, blonding techniques, and grey coverage. Sara Ellen is excited to join the Common Thread Collective and will continue to exceed industry standards. She views her work as a true form of art and looks forward to building strong relationships with each of her clients.
